This mid-century modern had so much original charm the owner chose to accentuate those details and furnish the home with vintage and antique pieces that fit right into this time period. Nestled in a pocket of charming MidCentury homes the goal was to keep as much of the original details as possible and update rooms like the kitchen and bathrooms to bring the home up to modern standards. Their new kitchen, powder bath and primary suite were renovated with elegant finishes of marble and brass including a gracious walk-in shower and luxurious soaking tub.

The Powder Bath was carved out of an unnecessarily long hallway and allowed for a guest to be surprised and delighted with the glamorous vintage wall covering and wonderful marble details. In the kitchen we choose to keep the existing cabinets and update the rest of the kitchen with new appliances, countertops, a fun copper penny round back splash and integrated under cabinet task lighting to give the room functionality and warmth. The home has since been featured on local home tours and been host to many neighborhood parties and lots of laughter.
